We're based in Chilliwack, BC — about an hour east of North Vancouver via the Trans-Canada — and we build every piece by hand, to order, in our own workshop. No catalogues, no flat-pack, no compromises. You choose the wood species, the dimensions, and the finish. We do the rest.

Walnut MCM Style Table with Custom Base

Our most popular piece for North Vancouver clients is a solid hardwood dining table — typically in white oak or black walnut, with a base that suits the room. We've built everything from clean, tapered Scandinavian-style legs for older character homes, to slim steel spider bases for modern builds with concrete floors and floor-to-ceiling windows.

Every table we build starts with a conversation. You tell us the room — the ceiling height, the flooring, the light — and we help you think through wood species, sizing, edge profile, and base style. Most clients come in with a rough idea and leave with a piece that's better than what they imagined.

White Oak vs. Black Walnut — Which Is Right for Your Home?

White oak is our most requested species right now, and for good reason. It's light-toned with subtle grain movement — it works beautifully in both warm and cool-toned interiors and holds up extremely well to daily use. If your North Van home has a lot of natural light, white oak will glow in it.

Black walnut is a different kind of beautiful — rich, dark, and full of character grain. It suits homes with darker interiors, leather furniture, or a more dramatic design palette. Paired with a steel base, it's one of the best-looking tables we make.

The North Shore has a strong small-business and professional community — architects, designers, financial firms, and creative studios — and we build for them too. A custom conference table is often the centrepiece of a boardroom or studio, and it sends a message about how a business operates. We build them to seat 6 to 20+, in any species, with cable management and custom sizing built in from the start.
